Jarrod is a lawyer in our dispute resolution team specialising in commercial litigation and body corporate and community management law. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 2012 and has been working in the Body Corporate Industry since 2014.  He has extensive experience assisting bodies corporate with advice and litigation matters, with a specific interest in debt collection, and Queensland Building and Construction Commission matters.

Jarrod gained his first exposure to litigation working as an associate for the Fair Work Commission assisting Queensland and interstate members in a variety of disputes. Prior to admission, Jarrod worked for the Seniors Legal Advice Service providing support in several estate dispute matters.

Jarrod has several years’ experience acting as company secretary for public companies.

Recent experience

Jarrod has been assisting Bodies Corporate for a number of years in a variety of areas. Having prepared numerous applications to the Queensland Building and Construction Commission and Office of the Commissioner for Body Corporate and Community Management, he is capable of obtaining positive results for his clients in difficult circumstances through negotiation or litigation.

More recently he has assisted several property developers in litigating development applications in the Brisbane, Logan and Moreton Bay regions.
