For the foreseeable future, the way we live and work has changed. We wanted to let you know the steps Mahoneys has taken to protect our people and ensure continuity of service for our valued clients.
We are client-focused
Our ethos is client focus. That ethos has guided us through our almost 20-year existence and is responsible for our success.
COVID-19 has changed many things. It will not change our client focus.
Despite the challenges, it is our commitment to you, our clients, that we will deliver the same level of care and expertise as we always have. We have all the resources we need for us to continue delivering you a client-focused legal services experience.
Health and wellbeing of our people, our clients and our community
We are actively monitoring the progress of the virus. We are following expert advice. We are doing our bit to protect the community and reduce its spread.
We have a risk mitigation policy in place that is based on expert advice and is refined as and when the advice changes. Thankfully, none of our staff have tested positive for COVID-19.
For our people, we have plans in place should a staff member be in contact with anyone with COVID-19 or is otherwise at risk. For our clients, we have business continuity plans in place to ensure continuity of service.
We’re open for business – just a little differently
Over the past few years, we invested in the technology and tools to enable our lawyers to work from any location with an internet connection.
Since 18 March 2020, most of our staff have worked from home. It has been a seamless transition for our people and our clients.
While our staff may not be in the office, they are available to you through email, phone or other technology such as video conference. No matter where they are, our staff can access files and are contactable through their usual email and phone number.
While many are working remotely, our offices will remain open with essential staff on hand. We are also available for necessary meetings where technology cannot assist such as for the witnessing of documents.
