Specifically John discusses an increasing absence of any requirement for the building manager and letting agent (commonly referred to the resident accommodation manager) to reside onsite – and the pros and cons of this arrangement (for both the building manager and the body corporate).

Only time will tell if this trend continues, and what impact it will have on the management rights industry.  But one thing is for certain, the success of the arrangement – irrespective of where they reside – will always come down to the quality of the building manager.
