Katya began her legal career in Townsville and was admitted as a lawyer in 2020. Originally starting out in commercial litigation, undertaking various claim and debt recovery matters in the Magistrates and District Courts and QCAT, Katya worked predominately in transactional, property and commercial matters. This has included undertaking and assisting with the acquisition and disposal of commercial property, leasing, business purchases and sales.

Katya took a keen interest in body corporate law and relocated to Brisbane to further develop her skills in this area.  She will be working alongside Todd Garsden in the body corporate team.
