Liam’s recent experience includes:

• advising a body corporate on:
• • its rights to extinguish an obsolete easement which a neighbouring scheme was using to access a public park without any lawful right; and
• • the validity of a number of contentious general meeting motions and the process for the chairperson to rule the motions out of order;

• advising a building management group of its rights to tow various vehicles parked on its shared areas;
• acting on behalf of a lot owner in the Commissioner’s Office against a body corporate’s purported attempt to enter into a lease or license without proper authority; and
• advising and preparing a new caretaking agreement for a scheme in which the common property was being self-managed by the committee.
