As reported in the media yesterday, Mahoneys were Dr Ridd’s instructing solicitors for his successful application for special leave to appeal the judgment arising from the termination of his employment by James Cook University. In a case that has attracted significant interest, Mahoneys dispute resolution team has acted for Dr Ridd from the beginning of the matter which commenced in late 2017. We expect the High Court will hear the appeal later this year.
