We had over 130 management rights caretakers at our final event of the year to hear from industry leaders – John Mahoney, Lynda Kypriadakis and Mike O’Farrell – on the increasing importance of compliance.

With bodies corporate increasingly using non-compliance as a basis to breach management rights operators, it is critically important that resident managers are aware of, and complying with, their regulatory and contractual obligations.

The panel of industry leaders discussed the resident manager’s obligations – in important areas like fire safety, work place health and safety, electrical etc – and the steps resident managers can take to avoid disputes with, and breach notices from, the body corporate.

The night concluded with the opportunity for resident managers to ask questions of the speakers and network with other people within the management rights industry.
