Mahoneys’ Partner Antony Harrison recently joined Paul Copeland (William Buck) to provide an overview of recently issued Payroll Tax Rulings and what those rulings mean for specialists.
This webinar – which 450 specialists registered for – was specifically relevant for specialists in group practice in every State and Territory in Australia, with a specialist in each State/Territory registering to listen to Antony and Paul.
Specifically, Antony discussed:
- the key payroll tax court cases: Thomas v Naaz and Optical Superstore;
- State Revenue Office Payroll Tax Rulings in QLD, SA, NSW and VIC; and
- the importance of properly drafted service agreements.
A copy of the webinar – titled “Payroll Tax Application to Specialist and Medical Practices” – can be found on The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) past event presentation page.
A big thank you to RACP and The Professional Medical Practice (PMP) for arranging this important webinar – specifically Tracey Handley and Suzanne Stack (RACP) and Jordan Gardiner (PMP) for their efforts in making this content available to RACP members so quickly.
